Manjeet Bullar's soiree to welcome teams

The winning team of the Manjeet Bullar Cavalry Gold Cup polo tournament will only be decided after the match on Sunday in Delhi, but the celebrations have already started.
A soiree was hosted by interior and furniture designer Manjeet Bullar to welcome the teams from the United Kingdom and France. Players from the two European countries and four Indian players will come together to make up the contesting teams.Delhi’s known faces came to join in the revelry with the players, irrespective of whether they were fans of the game, or not. Said Anju Modi, “I am from Rajasthan, the place where the sport comes from so, I have an inclination towards it. I don’t follow it though.” Margherita, an Italian national, was one of those who didn’t belong to the game’s fan club. “I don’t mind watching a match but it’s not my favourite thing to do,” she said as she bit into her pizza slice and added, “The pizzas in India are so Italian!” Yummy in my tummy?
